Alvina LeBlanc of Foyer Saint-Thomas (formerly of Memramcook East) passed away on Sunday January 4, 2009 at the Dr George L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 79.
 Born in Belliveau Village, she was the daughter of the late Henri LeBlanc and the late Marie LeBlanc.
She is survived by her husband Hervé LeBlanc, one son, Normand (Gwen Goguen) LeBlanc of Memramcook East, four sisters, Osithe (late René) Lauzon of Dieppe, Louise (late Aurèle) Melanson of Peterborough, ON, Maria (late Tommy) LeBlanc of Dieppe, and Eva (Ulysse Bourgeois) LeBlanc of Memramcook East, one brother, Vital (Doris) LeBlanc of St-Joseph, one grandson, Paul LeBlanc and one step-grandson, Scott Chevarie and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three sisters, Dorilla, Rita, and Amanda and by seven brothers Antoine, Willie, Eddée, Aimée, Camille, Adrien and Dominique.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook and Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Wednesday January 7 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
